Westside Labourists vs White Roses (1-1): Extended Review

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

First of all, I would like to clarify on the confusion of who scored that crucial goal last Saturday against White Roses. After numerous replays from all possible angles, I have to admit that Joe was the last person to touch the ball before it went pass the goal line. As a manager, it's my responsibility to give credit where credit is due. So congratulations to Joe, and not Suboh, for giving us the lead in that match. Unfortunately, we were a bit clumsy at the back and it caused us dearly when we conceded a goal later and the scoreline stayed at 1-1 for the remaining of the match.

I would also like to use this opportunity to welcome our latest signing, Hazman to our team. I've had my eyes on him for the past several months when he was still playing for his club in Malaysia. Being a professional player who single-handedly defeated other top clubs, I just couldn't say no when he expressed his interest to be a part of our team. Hazman, also known as the 'Midfield Maestro' during his days in UKM, was absolutely fantastic in his first match for us. He showed great determination on the pitch and his style of play reminds me of the retired ex-skipper of France, Zinadene Zidane. I could see the disappointment in his eyes after the final whistle was blown. Managing only to get a draw is the the last thing you would want when celebrating your debut for a team with rich traditions as ours. Anyway, I'm sure he won't be disappointed in our next match against al-Hambra. Yes, I'm giving an early warning to Nazri's team: If you guys think our team can be written off as a bunch of school kids playing novice football, you'd better think again!

I think that's all for now. Looking forward for our next match. Bring on the Al-Hambra's!!!
